Description

Double vinyl LP pressing housed in gatefold jacket. Vinyl reissue of the 1998 fifth studio album by Miami-based country/Americana band The Mavericks that enjoyed huge success, especially in Europe, with a sound reminiscent of the Traveling Wilburys (Roy Orbison), Los Lobos and Chris Isaak. The original mix of country, Tex-Mex, gospel, western swing and rock & roll, the fantastic quality of the studio recordings and the unique voice of Raul Malo helped this production to achieve the status of a classic from the heyday of Americana and neo-traditional country music at the turn of the millennium, which sounds even better on vinyl!
